The 8th Annual International Business Awards 2011 has bestowed an Honorary Stevie Award to Dr. Khater Massaad for his achievements as the visionary CEO behind the success of RAK Ceramics, the world’s largest ceramic tiles & bathware manufacturing company. ‘Elegance’ and ‘Opulence’ collections likewise headline exclusive showcase of RAK Ceramics’ latest product designs

RAK Ceramics, the world’s largest ceramic tiles & bathware manufacturing company, has announced that it has launched the “Elena” bathware suite, a new bathware collection that caters to the European market, during its successful participation at the recently concluded CERSAIE – International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings 2011, in Bologna, Italy. RAK Ceramics built a dedicated 100-square meter stand for its exclusive bathware collection, which generated an overwhelming response from target audiences across Europe, resulting in positive response from clients and distributors.

RAK Ceramics, which booked a total of 400 square meters of exhibition space, also constructed a separate and equally luxurious 100-sqm stand using tiles from its “Elegance Ceramics” collection, to showcase its ceramic tile designs that likewise attracted huge crowds during the exhibition. With the launch of the Elena Bathware Sweet collection, RAK Ceramics has further expanded its specialised product range developed exclusively for the European market. The award, presented to RAK Ceramics during the ALA Awards at the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai on September 25, 2011, was hosted by the Asian Confederation of Businesses and supported by Stars of the Industry Group.

RAK Ceramics, the world’s largest ceramic tiles & bathware manufacturing company, has announced that it is sponsoring the RAK Immigration Department’s Ramadan Bowling Tournament, which is being held at Super Bowling Center in Ras Al Khaimah. The sponsorship is in line with RAK Ceramics’ commitment to support civic-oriented activities in Ras Al Khaimah, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

The tournament has attracted around 100 teams who will be vying for the championship in nightly matches that start right after Iftar and run until 2 am. The event will conclude with the awarding ceremonies to be held at the end of the month.

UK market accounts for 25 per cent of RAK Ceramics’ global bathware sales
