Doha facilities and organisation ‘second to none’
Volleyball’s world governing body FIVB has described Qatar’s sporting facilities as among the best in the world. Doha is hosting the 2009 FIVB Men’s Club World Volleyball Championship from 3 – 8 November at the Aspire Zone.
Eight teams from Italy, Russia, Puerto Rica, Qatar, Poland, Iran, Brazil and Egypt will be battling out for the team world title, which has been brought back onto the volleyball calendar after a break of 17 years. Read the full story
