Leading bowling company Switch Middle East is set to open a new bowling centre in Dubai’s Ibn Battuta Mall, featuring state-of-the-art technology being used for the first time in the Middle East. The 12-lane bowling centre – called Switch Bowling - will be equipped with the latest Switch bowling equipment designed by Pininfarina, multi-media screens and the finest lighting system ever installed in a bowling facility, creating a richly enjoyable and entertaining experience for families and bowling enthusiasts alike.
The bowling centre also caters to corporate events and team building activities as it features complementary leisure amenities through top-of-the-line billiards tables at the Q’s billiards club and four karaoke studios, in addition to a conference room and a food and beverage menu. The centre also offers value-added treats to its more youthful patrons as a number of computers are available for various networking games at “Networkx”.

The screens being installed in the bowling centre span the 12 lanes with a combined width of 24 metres and a height of five metres. The screens will project the latest music videos and live sports events, plus other entertaining shows and activities, offering a totally unique and refreshing way of enjoying the sport,” added El Komy.
Switch Bowling has a strategic location at the Indian Court in Ibn Battuta Mall, which positions it to serve all residents of Dubai, especially those from Discovery Gardens, Marina and Jumeirah. The bowling facility is open to host corporate and special events, birthdays, in addition to the regular bowling aficionados.
Q’s, which is located within the bowling centre, offers a cosy atmosphere that puts visitors in the mood for a challenging game of billiards.
