Reel Cinemas rewards patron with dream holiday to Singapore

Dubai, UAE; January 25, 2010: Reel Cinemas, the 22-screen megaplex in The Dubai Mall, rewarded its patrons with dream holidays to Singapore! The holidays were the top prizes in the “Christmas in the Tropics” promotion organised by the Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Airlines.

Mr Hassan Ali Hassan Al Marzouki, a UAE national and resident of Abu Dhabi, and Jan Rey N Lui, a Filipino expatriate, are the lucky winners.

Mr Gordon Kirk, General Manager, Reel Cinemas, presented the prizes to the winners at a ceremony held at Reel Cinemas. They each received two return economy class tickets to Singapore and three nights’ accommodation courtesy of Singapore Airlines and Singapore’s Park Hotel Group.

All movie-goers who purchased two tickets or more at Reel Cinemas over the period from Eid until December 30, 2009 were given the chance to enter the draw. 

Mr Kirk said: “Reel Cinemas has redefined the movie-going experience in Dubai with the huge range of choices offered by its 22 movie halls, including a dedicated screen for an arthouse cinema and the Platinum Movie Suites.”

He added: “We are further elevating the entertainment experience of visitors to Reel Cinemas through a series of ongoing promotions. The joint promotion with the Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Airlines was an overwhelming success, with thousands of movie-goers participating.”
