ALHOSN’s TCEC to hone human resource & executive management skills of participants

ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality, value-based education, has today (sandy, January 3- 2010) officially launched the ‘TOMOOH’ (‘Aspirations’) training programme at the University’s Campus. Developed in cooperation with the Office of H.H. Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed, the representative of H.H. the President of the UAE, the programme involves the delivery of human resource and executive management training under ALHOSN’s Training and Continuing Education Centre (TCEC).

The opening ceremony on Monday January 4- 2010    included speeches from Eng. Ahmed Al Mazrui, Chairman, and Huda Al Amri, Program Officer, of the Office of H.H. Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Representative of the President of the UAE; Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Sabouni, Vice Chancellor, ALHOSN University; and Dr. Hassan Younis Al-Samarrai, Director, TCEC, while students attending the breakfast were given a booklet containing the TOMOOH study plan, and class schedules.

“The capabilities of key personnel have to be constantly developed in order to maintain organizational efficiency and competitiveness. The TOMOOH programme focuses on two areas that have become especially vital in light of today’s challenging business environments: human resource management and executive management. TCEC has the necessary manpower and materials to successfully implement this initiative and produce a new breed of employees who are ready to meet evolving labor market needs,” said  Dr Hassan Al samarrai Director of Training & Continuing Education  Alhosn University.

Training under TOMOOH will be delivered by highly qualified professors either within TCEC or in a facility provided by the contracting organization. Administrative, technical, professional, cultural, and organizational content will be taught four hours a day over four months, with complete handouts to be provided prior to the start of every module. TCEC Offering many Training Programs scheduled according to trainee availability and convenience and can be set even on weekends. An initial batch of 43 male and female UAE nationals will start off the TOMOOH programme.
